Proud new owner of this Merrill Desmore work from the Slotin Auction over the weekend! I first saw this piece in Kelly Ludwig's book Detour Art and it really stood out to me. After doing some digging on Merril Densmore, you find that he is a featured artist from a nonprofit group from Vermont called Grass Roots Art and Community Effort or GRACE. The GRACE program has a great mission and has provided many with the resources to create.
